I am currently a lecturer in the award-winning University of Denver Writing Program. I recently co-edited with Matthew S. S. Johnson and Rebekah Shultz Colby the collection Rhetoric/Composition/Play through Video Games. I have also co-edited with Rebekah Shultz Colby a special issue of the journal Computers and Composition Online on gaming and composition. My work has appeared in Computers and Composition, Computers and Composition Online, CCC, and WPA. I teach courses on the rhetoric of games and disciplinary research. My research is on digital pedagogies, digital-public rhetorics, and, of course, video games.
